This website is providing a great, but terribly underused service to Baton Rouge. Our only daily newspaper, the Advocate, offers no method of feedback, other than letters to the editor. In New Orleans, the Times Picayune, through nola.com offers a vibrant electronic forum to comment on every news story they publish.

The Advocate doesn't even provide a method to contact them without providing name, phone number, etc.

I frequently take issues with the accuracy, completeness, or bias in stories within the Advocate. Other times, I would like to reinforce their opinions or stories in an electronic forum. But they offer no such opportunity to their readers.

I hope that more people will discover batonrougetoday.com and use its forums to initiate discussions on our local media, politics, news, etc. Thanks for the operating the site. For our sake, I wish you the best of luck in expanding your viewership and user base.
