Repeat DWI Offenders of Baton Rouge - Future Killers
We have decided to dedicate one entire thread (perhaps an entire forum if this becomes popular enough) to the future killers of innocent drivers on the streets of Baton Rouge. Repeat DWI offenders seem to be an all too often occurence around this city and we don't feel like The Advocate is doing enough justice to these upstanding citizens by burying them in the Police and Fire Briefs somewhere back in the Metro section. That being said, we wanted to give them a little extra exposure by posting their names here. While distributing our praises, we must not forget our judicial system that is making it so easy for these future killers to get back on the roads. We want you to know that we recognize your efforts and have made this nice little corner of our site just for you and the future killers of Baton Rouge. Welcome aboard.
We will update this thread everytime a repeat DWI offender is arrested. Our source is The Advocate.

Well no point in starting out with the small fish.
August 8th, 2007:
Michael E. Walker, 28, 10615 Airline Highway, No. 161, fifth-offense DWI, speeding, improper lane usage, disobeying a red light, headlights required, brake lights required, inspection sticker expired, proof of insurance required and open-container violation.
Not much to say here. I think this data speaks for itself. 28 years old and arrested for 5 DWIs already. Who says 3rd time's a charm? Not this guy. Hopefully the court system won't lock him up this time either. This guy has all the motivation of Barry Bonds. He will not be outdone no matter what the cost.

Jason Todd Johnson, 33, 1605 Drehr Ave., second-offense DWI, speeding, reckless operation of a vehicle, and driver’s license suspended or revoked.
David Scott Ardoin, 22, 2116 W. Main St., Ville Platte, second-offense DWI and failure to maintain control.
John Thomas Pickett, 22, 3696 Ramey Drive, Zachary, third-offense DWI, improper lane use and expired inspection sticker.
Mary Elizabeth Patton, 22, 4046 Capital Heights Ave., Apt. 2, second-offense DWI, driver’s license not in possession, disobeying a red light, license plate expired, reckless operation of a vehicle, improper lane use and drinking in a motor vehicle
22 seems to be the most popular age of today's award recipients. Hats off to these people who have worked so hard to get where they are. John Pickett, you are a true role model for all drunks out there. 22 years old and already got your 3rd DWI. With a little more effort, you could possibly be involved in your first traffic fatality before you're 25. Keep up the hard work.
