Weed farms or sound barriers?
While travelling I-10 this morning on the way downtown, I couldn't help but notice the IMMENSE amount of weeds growing up the sides of the sound barrier walls that are built on either side of the interstate near the split. This looks so tacky! How hard is it for the weed eater crew to whack the bottom part at the root so it dies and falls off? I can only image what people passing through town think when they see how much we spent on those walls and how little we do to take care of them! Am I going to have to make an illegal stop on the side of the interstate with a sprayer full of round up or will my tax dollars do something about this? I'm going to see if I can get a picture of this tomorrow to share.

Saw those this morning also. What an eyesore. Id rather see grafitti than weeds. At least grafitti has a chance of looking somewhat better.

More Sound Barriers
If they grow over completely in vines that would be fine with me. Who uses the interstate for anything other than getting it done? What I would like to know is how can we get them to build more. I find it odd that they stopped at Essen. The city is densly populated along the interstate through Seigen.
