Taco Bell - Healthier Options
Here's a downloadable PDF of Taco Bell's nutrition facts.

TacoBell.com

Order just about any menu item as "Fresco" and that will cut the calories significantly. When you say "Fresco Style," they don't put cheese or sauce on your menu item, but they replace it with Pico de Gallo. If you're unfamiliar with Pico de Gallo, it's tomoatoes, onions, peppers, and cilantro. It packs a lot fo flavor and very few additional calories.

They were nice enough to spell it out for us on their website...

If you need a side dish, their Pintos (no cheese) and their Rice are both under 200 calories.

Their hot sauces are basically water, vinegar, peppers, salt, and some sugar. They're not too bad.

I completely agree...but sometimes there are those times when there's not another option and it's great to be prepared for those times. Like when your tuna sandwiches go bad during an 8-hour trip to Arkansas because your little sister forgot to put ice in the ice chest, which sat in the sun for 6 hours.....yuck.

who would have ever thought anything at taco bell would be somewhat healthy. I think their water is even fattening.

So instead of cold tuna you had warm tuna. I love heating or toasting my tuna sammich. What's the difference?

Back to the subject, what are the nutritional differences between the regular taco bell stuff and the stuff 'without the stuff'?

Anyone for taco bell for lunch tomorrow?

I haven't had fast food since mid January.

I usually eat a Healthy Choice soup each day for lunch, but i cheat once a week.

Tomorrow is that day, I will be at Serop's.

You can't eat taco hell when the sun is out, even if it is healthy!

It's Demolition Man all over again, with the only restaurant left is Taco Hell!!!

Speaking of fattening water...has anyone ever noticed that everything at McDonald's taste like the grease used to fry their fries? Even their water? eeew.
