McDonald's: Eliminating butter, cheese, and/or sauces will reduce the calories significantly. You can always ask for Salsa (yes, they carry it) or BBQ Sauce in place of the mayo or butter.

Nearly any salad is fine as long as the meat you order with it is not fried. The best dressing at McDonald's are the low-fat ones such as Low Fat Balsamic Vinaigrette and the Newman's Own Low Fat Family Recipe Italian Dressing. Generally, the salads are under 400 calories unless the meat is fried.
The best drink choices are water, but Diet Coke/Diet Dr. Pepper, coffee, or tea (unsweet or sweetened
with Splenda, Equal, Sweet-n-Low) would also suffice.
