Ryan Perrilloux Fails Drug Test; Dismissed From Team

LSU Head Football Coach, Les Miles, has officially dismissed quarterback Ryan Perrilloux after he failed a drug test.

Head coach Les Miles says that Perrilloux "didn't fulfill his obligation as an LSU student-athlete." He is declining additional comment.

LSU said Friday that Perrilloux is expected to finish out the spring semester at the school.

Perrilloux ran up against the law and team discipline with regularity at LSU. He was on the fringe of a counterfeiting investigation and was caught trying to enter a Baton Rouge casino with a false identification. That got him suspended all of last summer.

He also was involved in an incident at a nightclub in November, but he was cleared of wrongdoing.

Good Riddance.

Short pass right, flea flicker left.

How will we ever compete now.....

This could almost be considered darwinism.

Hey Perrilloux, with your prior history and aptitude, might I recommend a nice job in the fast food or retail industries. Clearly you are not qualified for anything else....

I'm not fond of football or other college sports. But testing for drugs is a good thing.

So I'm wondering how often all the teachers and professors at the university are tested. While I really couldn't care less if a football player wants to destroy their life with drugs the last thing I would want is a teacher or professor in charge of our children on them.

This was really only a matter of time. Besides, had any other player behaved this way, his ass would have been booted off the team long ago. RP received enough chances.
