Dr. Donald Auzine Pleads Guilty in Federal Court
Apparently Dr. Auzine disagrees with everyone here who claims he's innocent. This morning he pleaded guilty to all charges to illegally dispensing medication without a medical reason.

The search and seizure of his house and vehicle netted more than $250,000.00 in cash and an array of...

It seems that when anyone defending this criminal is asked to tell who they are or how they know him they dont respond. Thats not supporting this criminal. Its only validating that they dont want to be or cannot be linked with him. I wonder if they are worried that this site is being monitored and they will get investigated. You can bet this criminal has the names to turn on a lot of people he sold to, partied with and bought from. Wonder if he did RAT on any to get his sentence reduced and save his own ass.

If that is the case , who the hell are you bashing him? Im sure you would like to help out in any way you can to hurt him, so come on out with it!! If I was doing anything illegal , I think the last place I would be is here on this site saying anything! Duh! Surely you dont have to be registered for them to find out what they need to know , so try again!!

You guys are very judgemental. Not ALL of his patients were drug addicts. I for one took very minimal drugs. However, I did know that I could get other things if I wanted to, I did not do that b/c I didnt need it nor want it. It did however put me in a position to find another pain managment doctor who charges more than he did and does just about the same thing he did and offered just about the same thing he did. The only problem is that the DEA does not allow doctors some leniency in prescribing drugs and many doctors are afraid to do so. These doctors do not accept insurance b/c even insurances do not agree and refuse to pay for this. It is very unnerving for those who do need pain management services. Even pharmacists act like a person is a drug addict when they receive narcotic medications routinely. Although let them prescribe something which is much worse on their body systems even to a point that they are "zonkered" all the time and that is okay with them, just so it is not a narcotic. I do understand the point of people being upset with him, but I am talking about generally what the DEA does about this. It is sometimes unreasonable.

Post Not proven guilty

Whatever happened to being innocent until proven guilty? After all those police hounding him, I bet he ended up with no money and no way to defend himself. I wouldn't want anyone to assume I was guilty unless there had been a trial. I have to think this is a doctor who tried to help his patients and the Feds made a big story out of it. How about catching some terrorists, rapists, kidnappers, murderers?

He was found guilty. He said so himself before a judge in a public court. And he voluntarily surrendered the money. It didn't help that he was in possession of weed and X.

His party came to an end.

Me too. He sure knew what we wanted and didn't mind giving it to us. It was great to have a doctor who shared our appetite for life and the things one needs to get the most out of it.

It is so obvious who this is! Just not using your name anymore. Regardless of who you are , and what you think about him , understand that he does have support from those of us that want the best for him , ourselves , as well as our families. All the sarcasm in the world will not change this oppinion. Assuming everyone is addicts that support him , is foolish on your part. Again, you are not just putting down on him , you are also putting down all who speak any kindness about him all because it angers you that others do actually care what happens to him , even knowing the mistakes he has made. Give yourself a break , surely you can't be to peaceful or happy of a person with all this bitterness. He did some things wrong and he will pay for it , he is not being commended for his wrong doings , he is being recognized for all of the good he has done and is made up of . His good far out weighs his bad! It is always awesome to see people learn from their mistakes and come back stronger because of it. This is his first time to have consequences for any wrong doings , not his second , third or fourth! So I hope people like you learn from this and maybe it will show you all who make mistakes , don't deserve to be miserable for the rest of their lives.

I agree with you about that poster. I don't know who he is. But he seems a bit too ready to claim some kind of alliance with the Doctor.

I imagine the Doctor knows now who his real friends are in this world. If it's his first run in with the law he'll likely get off with a short stint in jail and it will give him a chance to reflect on his mistakes, what they cost him, his patients, his family, and employees. Throwing away a career in medicine will be a tough price but with his education he'll be able to find another career easily where he will be able to make up for lost time. Like you I hope he is able to overcome this.

I know of a doctor who got busted with similar drug charges and unethical behavior. He went to jail, lost his license, ended up in a half way house and is now bussing tables at a resturant.
