Jan Waters Arrested in Husbands Slaying - 4 Years Later Still No Trial
The case of Jan Waters who is accused of killing her ex-husband Alan Waters in 2004 seems to have stalled out. It has been nearly 4 years since the murder and Waters, who was arrested and charged with the crime, is out on bail.
Detectives conducted an unconstitutional interrogation...

Yeah you're right gigi, but if she is guilty it will all be worth it. The only thing worse than not getting millions of dollars is going to jail for life and not getting it.

I'd hate to know there was a fork in the road of my life where one way meant millions of bucks and the other way meant life in prison. The only thing that could make this worse is if I knew I was guilty. Many sleepless nights would be had, I can tell you that.

The obvious reason she has not gone to court is because her attorneys are smart and keep filing motions to delay/stall the trial. That is a known tactic in the court system. Over time people forget, die, move etc... and it becomes harder to prove without a witness. She is watched by the FBI and one day will be brought to court but the question is how long will it be before that day comes. Unfortunatly that is how our judicial system works! SLOWLY! Her assets are frozen but she is the sole support of her two children and she draws off of each of their trust funds to support herself and two kids in the way they are accustomed to living. The only way she will receive a portion of the insurance or estate is if she is proved not guilty!
In the meantime she continues to live life with her two kids and her girlfriend in her house. In case you had no idea yes these days she is a Lesbian.
I agree with everyone else that she is to say the least unbalanced but don't let that fool you into thinking she is mentally deficiant. The woman is extremely intelligient and very accomplished in all her goals. That is part of what makes her so dangerous. Her first husband died suddenly also and that is also being looked into as well as the current murder charge.

Lesbian
Alan said she was hanging out with the gays in Las Vegas. If the DA felt they had a stronger case they wouls push harder.
This man worked hard and did not spend money frivolously. He owned one new car in his life and that was after graduating from college and nothing too fancy but did make it from point a to point b.
He wanted his children to know money did not come easily but never to worry about it.
It is very sad, the death and the delay...

Yes, he worked his butt off. A great guy. His family meant so much to him. Highest moral character of anyone Ive ever met. And Im sure when Alan mentioned she was hanging out "with the gays" in vegas he didnt mean it in a derogatory way cause he was cool with gays, nonjudgmental. I wish there were more blogs about him, the victim, than there are about her, the murderess. I admired this guy so much. I hope justice comes soon. And regarding the statement above that if the prosecution had a stronger case theyd push harder.. its not about that. Its the motions her lawyers keep filing to delay the whole thing. its something we rarely see because not many people have the money to string it along so much. But Alan is financing it.
Does anyone know more about the death of her first husband? Somebody said he died under suspicious circumstances. Whats the deal with that? Did she kill him too?

Be real!
Everyone that confirms her guilt is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. She is using the money meant for Alan's children to defend herself. She has also had four years to "work" on her daughter and son telling them their memories are faulty along with persuading them how horrible their lives will be without her! Actually, in a few more years, they will be off to college. Will there be any $$ left to pay tuition?
How safe would you feel living without someone, who already committed the murder of your father? What would happen if you crossed her or even tried to suggest that she asked them to lie to a prosecutor?
