I don't think one town can stop a project like this, but I suppose this just amounts to one more case that will go before the courts in this probably 10 year battle for the loop. Is it all really going to be worth it?

Interestingly enough, the project has shifted east, outside the city limits. It now skirts the east side of 449.

Pretty soon this loop fiasco will become part of the "Future Corridor of I-49" that Lafayette is all to familiar with....
