These numbers don't seem right. Every time I read the news I see someone's been shot and killed in Baton Rouge. Seems like the homicide is way more than what's reported here. I guess not all of the shooting victims are dying. Maybe attempted homicide falls under aggravated assault.

They seem pretty accurate to me, at least the homicides do. I've browsed back in the news and it seems like the number reported fit the number I remember reading about.

They are probably right. I'm thinking of the number of shootings which take place in Baton Rouge and not the number of homicides. I think there's about two or three shootings per day in the city.
