Local doctor, Donald Auzine, Arrested on Drug Charges

Federal agents raided a doctor's office in Gonzales Thursday night.
They hit the New Image Health and Wellness Center, which is run by a fairly well known doctor - Donald Auzine.
Agents confiscated files, medical records, and receipts.
Drug enforcement agents say they believe Dr. Auzine was prescribing and dispensing pain killers and other drugs, illegaly.
Agents also searched Dr. Auzine's house, where they say they found marijuana and ecstasy.
Dr. Auzine was arrested on drug charges.
He can legally return to work while waiting for his trial, but he's barred from prescribing any so-called controlled substances.

Well, with obvious scholars like these on his side, I am sure all charges against the good doctor will be dropped.....

As far as the doctor goes, you would think someone who had invested the time, money and dedication needed to become a medical professional would hold himself to a higher personal standard than that of a drug dealer.

Dr. Auzine is an absolute professional and perfectionist

I personally know Dr. Auzine and grew up with him. These allegations are ridiculous. He wouldn't risk his license or risk losing his family for selling drugs. He is a professional who helps individuals who need help. He personally, has helped me overcome my problems and still does. Whomever wanted to get this man in trouble has nothing better to do then try to set someone up to get out of their personal situation. He is a great doctor and shouldn't be punished because of some punk that can't handle their sentence.
