Police and Crime
Here's my rant for the week.
Who in their right mind can possibly defend a policeman who was caught drinking and driving in his police car at 7:30 in the morning? Is there even a defense for that?
It wasn't a bad judgement call, it wasn't a mistake, it wasn't a mishap. It was a cop who thought that by driving his police car he could avoid arrest for DWI. Thinking he was above the law was his 2nd mistake. Its a good thing no one else was involed in the accident and hurt and its even better that he resigned. I'd hate to think that if I called 911 a drunk cop might show up.
