officers in East Baton Rouge and West Baton Rouge parishes are collaborating, trying to find 23-year-old Jessie Smith. Deputies tell us Smith escaped from the work release center, and now Baton Rouge police think he may have been involved in Dorian Allen's death.
Allen's body was found in the parking lot of Park Forest Elementary School last week.
Smith is about 5'7" and weighs 140 pounds.
Deputies stress that people should not approach Smith if they spot him because he may be dangerous.
Instead, call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP right away.
