Her article explains that legally, Waddell is in because the law calls for the challenge to occur in 7 days after filing for office. Personally, I wish Waddell was out, too. I think term limits are healthy and should be strengthened.
But the interesting part is Democratic Chairman Chris Whittington's statement. When asked why no one challenged Waddell, he said, "I don't know." That's a blatant lie. The democratic party was willing to let Waddell serve if it meant that their darling, Cleo, could have another four years. They dared not challenge Waddell, because they wanted the trumped up end run on term limits to stand for Cleo's sake.
Democratic Rep. Juan LaFonta, chairman of the Black Caucus, said "We don't play like that," when asked why Waddell wasn't challenged. An even bigger lie!! Cleo himself has filed multiple lawsuits to further the his and the democrats' liberal agenda. He always claims they aren't political or racial, just trying to get the law right. The biggest lie of all. Good riddance, Cleo. And thanks to the dem leadership for more lies and hypocrisy!!!

The question on everyone's minds, mine included, is what should be done about that genius of a judge, Don Johnson, that obviously has no comprehension skills and ruled that Fields could run again? How hard is it to interpret a set of rules that 2 other courts had no problem interpreting?
