I wince every time I see the gas prices. It's such an indicator of the economy overall: high gas = higher transportation costs = higher prices for everything = people spend less money = company cutbacks to afford transportation and lower sales = layoffs....

maybe companys need to lay off on the enourmous saleries of CEO's, maybe big companies dont need that fancy office or exoctic paints and waterfalls. maybe Americans need to revert back to nessecities instead of gotta have its!
