I just heard on WJBO that this guy plead GUILTY to a aggrivated rape that occurred in 1985. It was discovered that he committed this rape by comparing the DNA on the 1986 rape to the DNA in the 1985 rape. Once confronted with this evidence, he confessed to the rape. The judge then says, since you spent time on this false conviction, we'll give you credit for time served.
To me, that should mean its a wash. Why should the tax payers pay this RAPIST $1,000,000 after he admitted to committing a rape!?!?!
