The loop may or may not be the solution to the traffic problem. Not one of the five parish "leaders" have honestly looked at other options. Why? Money! Some of the members of the advisory committee and the stakeholders have their own or are a part of an investment company. There is money to be made for these cats. That's why this option is the only option being seriously considered.

Actually, I just own the site and my opinion happens to be that the loop would be a nice addition to a growing area. If I was on the payroll i'd own brloop.com and not batonrougeloop.com
