BR Loop
Cliif J made great points in Sep. 2007 and recently in Mar. 2008. And as fuel prices continue to rise, what trucker is going to spend money to ride on a toll road? Every cent counts to those guys.

And Mudbug, if you're old enough, you should know how politics work in this state. Don't completely fall for the "no taxes to pay for the loop" concept. Just wait until lower profits are being realized by the investers and you will end up paying for more of the loop than you think.

Typical Louisiana politics has brought on this mess. Instead of being proactive years ago, they're regrettfully be reactive now.
