Aren't toll roads generally used by larger cities? I travel a lot, and while i would pay to drive around Houston, Atlanta, New York or Boston, it is nonsensical to do it here. Baton Rouge would need tremendous growth to justify that.

I can't see where it's justified to pay a toll to drive around baton rouge.

In all honesty, if the interstates were widened to 3 lanes in either direction to Walker and the Highland/Perkins exit, you would essentially eliminate the need for a loop.

If you are an over the road truck driver unless you are coming thru between 7 and 8:30 am or 5 and 6:30 pm, it seems a waste of time and toll money to go 10-20 miles out of the way (depending on which loop model is chosen.)
