if we have this loop it will cause more traffic problems in our area. who will relieve our traffic problems once we are in grid lock from all this ?

That would have been much easier to read if you had thrown in a few periods... How is the loop going to put more traffic in your area? They're not just going to toss all the traffic from I-10 to existing surface streets in your area. New roads will be built to accomplish this alternate route. We're talking about the same amount of traffic, just split into two groups. With a loop, the traffic whose destination is beyond BR has the option of bypassing the middle of the city and coming out on the other side. If nothing else, it will help those who make the Ascension-BR commute easier. And remember, this isn't being considered as an alternative to improvements/widening to I-10/I-12. The necessity of those improvements are realized, and currently being addressed. One or the other isn't going to solve all the problems. Both 10/12 improvements and a Loop are projects that are long overdue. Most major cities have a loop(s). It makes sense. If you have a better solution, by all means...let's hear it.
Oh, and using crime as an excuse to not build a loop is asinine. They're not planning a parolee drop-off in your neighborhood. It's a freakin road. Your "Interstate Loop = Felonious Freeway" analogy is just ridiculous.
