That is such a NIMBY cry and when we do expand all the roads you mentioned then fill all the farmland with Walmarts and apartments, then it will be too late to add the loop to help with that congestion.
BTW, those double decker interstates you see are many times more expensive to build and we would have to take all the land by the interstates in order to build them. But I guess those peoples' feelings don't count as long as your land is safe...
