This BR Loop is Baton Rouge's problem not Ascension so keep it in BR. I live in St. Amant on land that was in my family for 100 years. And now we may lose it because of this BR Loop my neigherhood consist of my grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters and cousins. No amount of money can buy this place. We live here because we chose to be away from the main highways. KEEP BATON ROUGE OUT OF ASCENSION. There are many other options like widen Airline Hwy and the Interstates we have now. What about the Double Decker Interstates like that have in other states. But I guess people are not smart enough to think of this.

well, then start small with staying out of Baton Rouge. If you think that everyone in Ascension stays there and doesn't work in the big city, then maybe we should just close off all the roads to St. Amant. That is such a NIMBY cry and when we do expand all the roads you mentioned then fill all the farmland with Walmarts and apartments, then it will be too late to add the loop to help with that congestion.
BTW, those double decker interstates you see are many times more expensive to build and we would have to take all the land by the interstates in order to build them. But I guess those peoples' feelings don't count as long as your land is safe...
