Baton Rouge Loop
One only has to look at the peak traffic times to understand that the traffic problem is the result of growth in the downtown businesses area. It's the same old problem, elected officals continue to push the revitalization of the downtown area without serious consideration to the impact it has on the exsisting infastructure! The drive to bring more business and people into the downtown Baton Rouge area has slowly impacted a interstate system has been strained for years. Inner city toll roads should be considered to solve a problem that the commerce sector of Baton Rouge has created and continues to stimulate. Lets not push a Baton Rouge problem on the surrounding parishes. I certainly hope our elected officals place their own agendas aside and work together to spend taxpayers money on a project that all Louisianain's can be proud of!
