A 37-year-old Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Deputy has been fired as of Wednesday. Deputy Jeremy Brister, only with the department for about a year and a half, was arrested Wednesday

and charged with 3 counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile and one count of molestation of a juvenile, according to spokesman Perry Rushing of the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office. 

Brister’s bond was set at $125,000.00. 

The exact age and identity of the girl have not been released. The Sheriff’s Office learned about the incidents through the teenagers mother.
