With regards to the release yesterday soliciting assistance in locating Sherri Doucet Menard tips from that release have lead to an arrest in Shreveport, LA; Investigators with Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office reported several tips that lead to the capture at around 9:30 Wednesday morning. Plans are being made to transport Menard back to Lafayette where she will be booked and await court appearances in compliance with the law. A bond of $200,000.00 has been placed on the charges Menard is being held on.

Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for help in locating a person wanted for stealing over $50,000 cash over past 8 months from a local business. Sherri Doucet Menard is described as a white, female, 5’04”, approximately 200 pounds, an arrest warrant has been issued for Menard who is believed to be avoiding detection in the Acadiana area. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 232-8477 (TIPS).
