Baton Rouge Police Violent Crimes Detectives are investigating a Homicide that occurred last night, Tuesday August 9, 2011 around 9:12pm in the 4000 Block of Delaware Street.

Police found the deceased body of JONATHAN WALKER 20, 4353 DELAWARE STREET inside a vehicle at this location . At this time police believe that Walker died from a gunshot wound. Evidence indicating that drugs were involved were located at the scene.

Also in the news, Baton Rouge Police are investigating another homicide that occurred in the early morning on Wednesday August 10, 2011 around 12:22am at a carwash located at 2024 Staring Lane.

Police responded to this location and upon arrival found the deceased body of  COLIN ROSS, 22, 121 BERTEL DRIVE CONVINGTON LA inside a vehicle. Police found another occupant, a 23 year old male, had been shot in the chest. He was transported to a local hospital where he remains.  His condition is unknown.  Evidence indicates drugs were involved, which were located at the scene.

Police have no clear motive or suspects in either case.
