The event begins at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 2, at Sidney Hutchinson Park. Look for plenty of activities for children, including inflatables, a giant water slide, hot-air balloons, train rides and more. We’ll also have an assortment of treats, including snowballs, barbecue, jambalaya and more.

The celebration ends at dusk with a massive fireworks show. Families are invited to tailgate. Bring your tent, volleyball net, horseshoes, a picnic or your barbecue pit and enjoy an afternoon out. No alcohol is permitted in the park.
