Baton Rouge Police Looking for Police Impersonators

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are investigating an incident that occurred the night of January 24, 2010 around 12:30am.  Two suspects in a royal blue Chevrolet extended cab pick up truck were impersonating as police officers at 2321 Sherwood Forest, Exxon Service Station.

The suspects exited the truck and approached the victim while he was sitting in his vehicle at a gas pump.  The suspects identified themselves as police officers and forced the victim out of his vehicle.  The suspects then searched through the victim’s pockets and vehicle, taking some of his personal belongings.

Both suspects are black males, 5′10″, 315lbs, 21-25 years of age, light skinned, short hair, wearing a blue button up shirt and blue jeans.  The second suspect is 6′0″, 160lbs, brown skinned, short hair, wearing a black/white button up shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on this incident is urged to contact the Armed Robbery Office at 389-3845 or Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
